Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy and maintains a private
practice in Toluca Lake, CA.
As a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh as well as Barry University in South Florida, Lauren is licensed in both Florida and California. She comes from a humanistic, narrative, positive psychology perspective and framework aimed at elevating clients spirits and empowering them with the tools they need to cope with life's ever changing stressors.
With extensive experience in a wide range of settings, Lauren strives to offer superior mental health counseling services in the city of Los Angeles. She has worked with diverse groups of people including the chronically homeless and mentally ill, the elderly and terminally ill, people living with HIV/AIDS, the LGBTQ community, US veterans, and injured workers across all spectrums of life. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and trauma.
Lauren has been active with the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council, American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International, and Planned Parenthood and remains a proactive caregiver and advocate for public health in the community. She is committed to ethical and accessible health care for all and is currently a member of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, the National Association of Social Workers, and the American Counseling Association.
